Yesterday saw a spirited away performance by Watford u16 girls at Fullerians.

Watford ran in the first try going from line out, through the hands leading to a break by Abbie, supported by Miela who scored under the posts. Charlotte converted.

Fullerians scored an unconverted try not long after to make it 7-5 for the remainder of the first half and well into the second.

As legs began to tire with the Watford squad having no subs to run, Fullerians scored another 2 tries bringing the final score to 15-7. Watford challenged right to the end and it was an excellent display of tackling, jackling, running lines and scrummaging from both teams. Nail biting for the coaches and spectators.

Charlotte D was awarded player of the day from the Watford coaches for her accurate Levine kicks, tackling and the conversion.

Zara was selected by Fullerians as the oppositions player of the day due to her excellent defence work.
