Watford U12 win away to Harrow

This Sunday saw us play away to Harrow RFC. Many parents (mothers especially) were glad to see a change in the weather after last weeks snow, with a nice sunny morning, and a milder temperature.

The match saw Watford totally dominate the pitch. Four tries were scored in the first few minutes, two by George and two by Cameron. Harrow seemed to be caught totally off guard as the tries came thick and fast from Watford. By half time, Watford were winning 11-1.

The second half progressed much in the same manner with Watford scoring another three tries. The final quarter saw four Watford players move to the Harrow team, resulting in four tries scored by Watford boys for Harrow, and a Harrow player scoring one. This made the total number of tries scored by our boys 18 (shame that four of them were for the other side!).

Tries scored by George (2), Cameron (3), Archie, Jimmy (2), Max Bil (2), Max Bth (3), Aaron (4) & Alex.

All in all a fantastic match, with each and every player giving a stunning performance, whether they scored tries, defended, tackled, made yards or gained possession.

Man of the Match was awarded to George.
