Well Played Team!

The Under 12s had a great morning at Old Verulamians, in sunny but cold weather.

Our hosts very kindly loaned us two players as our side was short due to injuries and other sporting commitments. The first game was hard fought, with OVs scoring the first three tries. Watford fought back valiantly, with a strong defence and some fantastic breakaways to score four tries.

By the second match, Watford had found its rhythm, scoring three tries in the first half, OVs unable to break through our defence. OVs managed to get through our defence, and scored with a fast sprint from around the halfway line. Watford scored next, with OV's fighting hard for their next two tries. Watford kept OVs away from the try line, unable to make any distance before possession was lost, with both tries pushed through the ruck.

Watford held on until the final whistle, for a well deserved victory!
