Watford U13 still on winning form!

Todays match was the U13s first Home League fixture, facing Kilburn Cosmos, who we have never played before.

The match got off to a great start, with Aaron scoring a try, followed closely by two from Cameron. Watford were looking really strong, however Kilburn gained possession and got one on the scoresheet. Another try from Aaron, and a second from Kilburn saw us winning 4-2 at halftime.

Kilburn came back strong after their half-time pep talk, scoring their third try early in the second half. They made it hard work for us, but persistence paid off and Aaron scored his third try of the match after a fantastic run from the halfway line, with Kilburn unable to catch him. Next, Cameron made a great break through Kilburns defence, and sprinted around half the pitch to score his hat-trick. Kilburn were not happy about this, and even less happy with Aaron scoring his try number four! Kilburn were not giving up, and scored their fourth try of the match. Aaron managed to score one final try just at the full time whistle blew.

Todays tries were scored by Aaron (5) and Cameron (3).

Player of the match was awarded to Aaron, who apart from scoring five tries, made some great tackles and long runs.
