7-2 victory against Finchley

The under 13s had a fantastic start to the season with their first match away to Finchley. Finchley scored the first try, but Watford won possession at the scrum, going on to score two tries in quick succession. Watford were unlucky as two further tries were disallowed, with the players going into touch right on the try line. Watford maintained a 2-1 lead going into halftime.

After a strong first half, Watford totally dominated the pitch in the second half. After a further two tries from Watford, Finchley scored their second try. Watford defended against any further points, scoring three tries in quick succession, including one from around halfway when Finchley had no chance of catching Cameron!

Finchley were great opponents, excellent sportsmanship, and the boys look forward to meeting them again in the future.
