The Sun Shone and so did Watford RFC

Watford fielded a squad of 20 players for this friendly fixture against a strong Datchworth side who matched the boys for most of the game, Chris and Luca were man of the match winners with Donald picking up a special prize in the clubhouse following the game
Watford needed a win and with three close but not successful games behind then they began smartly as the Watford hooker drove over the line for the opening score Datchworth deservedly matched that effort and only kicking kept the teams apart. Datchworth were short od subs and as tiredness grew on a hot sunny spring day Watford ran out winners 35-10 three watford kickers shared the work with Ben showing all that practice paying off with some wonderful conversions.

The Lads worked hard and coach Donald was suitable impressed with everyone's efforts
