Watford 2nds bounce back with a win over unbeaten and top of the table stortford

Watford 2nds came back from a crushing loss last week to put a unbeaten and strong stortford side to the sword. Watford began the better side and after only 5 mins found themselves in the lead after a fine move from centre Cox who then threw a perfectly waited pass out wide to Watford speedster Gilmore and McGee added the extras 7-0. Bishop stortford then got 6 points through two penalties in front of the sticks. Watford also added a penalty of there own from the boot of fly half McGee making it 10-6 after 15 minutes. Watford then exploded into life with a try from flanker Connelly and then from the restart Jenkins caught the ball and showed some impressive speed to outpace several stortford backs before popping to number 8 Godfrey making the score 22-6 . Watford still had time to get one more before the break and this time it was scrum half Hill turn to cross the line after some good work from watfords pack making the score 27-6 at half time

Watford continued the second half how they finished the first and centre Coxy crossed the line and McGee added the extras to make it 34-6. Connelly then scored his second of the game after stealing the stortford lineout and showing a clean set of heels to score in the corner he then added another to complete his hat-trick and make it 44-6.
