Pinner came down for a game, and as one of our closest rivals, we knew we were in for a proper contest. Our Watford players, as always, were fired up and ready. What really stood out was just how far this team has come. We’ve gone from being competitive to being a side that teams don’t enjoy playing against — but absolutely love watching. Real rugby, played the right way, with teamwork, skill, and big smiles all round.
The squad showed brilliant team spirit, with players happy to help wherever needed — playing out of position, for the opposition, or being first onto the bench. Max was the first thorn in Pinner’s side, making an immediate impact and setting the tone early. Sulita also stepped in to help out, showing great character and commitment. From there, the team went from strength to strength, moving the ball with confidence and making every pass stick.
Player of the Week goes to William, who showed electric speed and great awareness, scoring multiple tries and causing problems all over the pitch.
This weekend we challenged the team to look for assists, and it really shifted the dynamic. Heads were up, support lines were strong, and teamwork was on full display. Leo led the way with the most assists, and Team Player goes to Sulita for her effort, attitude, and willingness to do whatever the team needed.
Fantastic effort from everyone — great rugby, great teamwork, and most importantly, plenty of fun. Well done, Watford Invincibles! ?❤️??
