It's not all muddy, wet, cold rugby training sessions that the U12 girls love to bond over. Fortunately! With all the pitches waterlogged and rugby training off the cards, the U12's traded their muddy boots for putters and headed to Puttshack for a team-bonding afternoon instead. The girls sported their cluster jerseys promoting team unity too!
The players had a great time taking on the mini-golf courses, with plenty of laughs, friendly rivalry, and questionable putting techniques on display. It was great to see the girls encouraging each other, celebrating the occasional lucky shot, and enjoying some time together away from the rugby pitch.
While there was no tackling or scrummaging involved, the afternoon was a big win for team spirit (and the parents' washing machines). Spirits were high, smiles were everywhere, and the girls left already looking forward to getting back to rugby once the pitches become playable.
Well done to Tilly on her birthday to win group 1, and Lana winning group 2.
Hopefully, training on Thursday and back to routine.
A huge thank you to Watford coach Steve B for organising the afternoon on short notice!
