With the government announcing partial closure of the vast majority of schools, we have a number of players in the senior squad who are secondary school and college teachers covering a range of subjects.

To a man, all of them have come forward and offered their assistance to any of our junior players who need a hand with their studies during this enforced absence.

Please note, the first instance should of course be the online / home learning packs issued by the schools. However, should any player be struggling then we have qualified WRFC members ready to assist.

This can be undertaken via email or skype, but please note that in terms of safeguarding the parent or guardian of the child must give their permission.

Rather than post the contact details of these fantastic volunteers here, should anyone need help then please drop me a line with their subject and age group and I’ll pass on the contact info for the most qualified to assist.

The lads have come forward and offered their services off their own back, without having been asked or pressured. It makes me so, so proud to see the core values of our club and our game perfectly displayed during these difficult times.

Please do make use of their offer should it be needed.
