Club Announcement: 2nd XV Captain 2026/27

Watford Rugby Club is pleased to announce that Jake Tierney will continue as 2nd XV Captain for the 2026/27 season.

After leading the side last season, Jake will once again take responsibility for the 2nd XV as we head into the new campaign.

Jake has become an important figure within the senior squad, and his commitment, leadership and support for those around him make him a natural choice to continue in the role.

With a new season ahead, Jake will be looking to build on last year, help develop players coming through the senior sides and lead the 2nd XV towards a successful 2026/27 campaign.

We’re delighted to have Jake continuing as captain and look forward to seeing him lead the boys out once again.
