Well, after not such a great start to the morning, the boys came out with a renewed determination in our second match this Sunday. Datchworth scored the first two tries of the match, getting the boys all fired up to get back into the game. Some excellent work turning over the ball from Datchworth to gain possession, resulting in two tries. Cameron snatched the stray ball from the ruck and running almost the entire length of the pitch, much to the bemusement of the opposition! By half time, it was 2-2 with both sides playing equally well.
Second half Watford dominated the match, making Datchworth work hard to retain possession without increasing their score. Three tries by Watford - could have been four but was not awarded by the referee.
The boys were congratulated by the referee at the end of the match, who praised them for coming back so well from their previous match! Hot dogs all round to celebrate!!!
