I was looking for a club in the area when I came from France. Had the choice between WRFC and Fullers. As WRFC is a family club playing at a good level without being to serious, I chose to join the club.

And more importantly, what made you stay?

Because I still need to teach you French flair you bloody English guys!

What’s been your favourite moment on the pitch so far?

My first game with the 1st against Bank of England, I really enjoyed to play at that level, even if the result was hard for us. I want to thank Paul Dunlop for his inside pass on my first ball of the game where I got absolutely smashed by 2 Bank forwards.

And off it?

Christmas party even if I’ve been victim of stereotyping with a beret, moustache and oignons as presents!

Who’s the best player you’ve played with or against?

The best player I played with is called Patrick Sobela, he’s playing now for Lyon in Top 14 and French Barbarians. His arms are as big as my legs now.

Which player would you least want to be stuck in a lift with?

George Hicks, I would be too afraid of harassment from him.

And the person who’s company you would crave the most in such a situation?

Luke Bees because I know he doesn't get on with the French as a London French prop tried to bite his ear once. It would be good to finish the other ear!

One thing you would change about the club….?

Lights on the pitches, best solution to stop training on a muddy and wet square. I’m already feeling heavy on the pitch, I don’t need more!

And finally, the best thing about WRFC is?

The social around the club is great. There’s a great atmosphere between the 2nd and 1st team and all the people of the club. For me who came without knowing anyone, I’m feeling at home now.
