Firstly, a belated happy new year to all our members. Hopefully you were all able to enjoy the festive period despite the latest round of restrictions.

Monday obviously bought the disappointing news of another national lockdown. Unfortunately, this means all rugby activities have ceased for the foreseeable future and our facilities will remain closed until further notice. As difficult as this is, keeping each other safe must of course take priority.

The committee met last night to assess the impact of lockdown number 3, rest assured a huge amount of work is taking place behind the scenes to ensure the club remains solvent and ready to open up again when things ease (which they will!).

In the meantime, we will be bringing back various things to try and raise a few pounds whilst keeping you all entertained - further details to come. Keep an eye out for announcement of a full club challenge we can all participate in as of Monday!

As always, our membership are here to help. Should anyone need any help with home schooling, grocery shopping, collection of medication etc then please do get in touch.

To reiterate, we are so much more than 80 minutes on a rugby pitch. Time to step up and show that once again!
