Notice is hereby given that Watford RFC’s Annual General Meeting for 2019 will take place at 19:30 on Friday 10th May 2019 (Clubhouse open from 18:30).

All WRFC members are encouraged to attend, listen to and question (should they feel the need) the reports from the committee. Once complete, officers for the 2018 / 19 season shall be voted in.

You are all strongly encouraged to engage with the process – the committee are here to represent YOUR interests and YOUR club. Should you feel you can step up and make a difference, nominations for the following positions are very welcome and open to all club members:

Chairman
Vice Chairman
Director of Rugby
MMJ Chair
Club Captain
2nd XV Captain
Treasurer
Secretary
Social Secretary

Should you wish to nominate a club member for one of the above roles, please put them forward in writing to Secretary Kay Giddings (kaymgiddings@gmail.com). Your nomination will need to be seconded by another club member, and the person you are putting forward must agree to be nominated.

Nominations should be submitted no later than Friday 3rd May.

Should you have any queries about the AGM or the voting process, please contact Kay in advance of the final committee meeting prior to the AGM so that the current committee can answer appropriately. The committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 4th April.
